This lovely green oolong was grown at high elevations in Anxi, of the Fujian Province. Harvested in Spring 09, this tea is fresh, and embodies the character of this well known tea region. Huang Jin Gui, translates into "Golden Osmanthus", - golden in color, and aromas reminisce of the Osmanthus flower. We found this tea to be a delight with clean, fresh and soothing aromas and flavors. The tea leaves are green, and brown, and wonderfully crisp and crinkly. The liqueur of this tea is a pale, yellow with bright lime green hues. Inviting. The aroma a mixture of honey and floral with similar flavors following through to the palate. Smooth and lasting finish.
